As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of sampling some of their renowned appetizers, soups, and bowls, and salads. The Ceviche Shrimp, Cheese Crisp, and Nachos with Grilled Chicken were standouts, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and textures. In search of nachos today and Yelp led me to Cien Agaves Tacos & Tequila. My party of five arrived for lunch around 1:00 pm and the restaurant was not very busy. We were promptly greeted and seated by VERY friendly and helpful hostesses/servers named Natalia & Erin. Our party started off with Casamigos & strawberry margaritas, which were perfect, not too weak or strong with the alcohol. The guac & nachos with shredded beef were excellent, with a touch of heat from the jalapeños. The chips arrived to our table nice and hot, and the seasoning in the shredded beef was really good. I also had the two shredded beef combo with rice & refried beans. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we will definitely add this place to the rotation even though it's a little bit of a drive.
Wow! What a great find! My boyfriend found this place off TikTok and after looking at the video and then reviews on Yelp, we decided to head on over to North Scottsdale to give this place a try. Walked in, pretty spacious and open restaurant. Got seated pretty quick. I wish I wasn't driving because Omg there were so many good looking margarita options! I just had one prickly pear but wow I wanted to try the others based on description and the prickly pear. Food came and it was all amazing! Definitely wanting more of that green chili cheese crisp lol! Definitely the high light of the meal. We also got the churro sundae for dessert and it was just as good as everything else! I can't remember our waiters name but he was just as great, fun personality. Definitely give this place a visit! You won't be sorry
Welp, this place is gonna be dangerous for my wallet. Dozens of tequila varieties to try. Check. A solid happy hour. Check. Great bartender. Check. A gluten free menu. Check. Our first time here while we waited for our movie to start and we'll definitely be back. Go see Chris at the bar when you go. He'll take good care of you.
We had the happy hour half price apps and a trio of tacos. The nachos with chicken were superb. The cheese crisp with chicken was great too (better with a side of refried beans). The taquitos were just ok. The beef taco, island shrimp taco, and Tecate fish tacos were each very good. The island shrimp and beef taco were better than the tecate fish. My fav was the island shrimp with its spicy and sweet hint of flavor. The mango tango margarita was very good too.
Loved loved loved this place ! I went to visit my friend in Arizona and she said this is a must during our visit! We were seated immediately ! The food came out in a matter of 10 minutes after ordering which we were so grateful for because we came ready to eat. I got a chicken quesadilla and it was buttery and savory and everything you could want out of a quesadilla. It was also HUGE, so I had some to take home. The drinks were amazing and if you go during happy hour they are so cheap ! My quesadilla, margarita and splitting the appetizer all come out to $20 after tip !
